1944 - British Firefly

Armament:  1 - 17 Pdr gun, (3") 76.2mm high velocity AT gun
                     1 - 0.3" MG coaxial
                     1 - 0.5" AA MG

Over 2,100 Shermans were modified by the British to carry the
larger 17 Pdr main gun.  The hull MG was eliminated.  Probably
the most effective Sherman of  WWII.  The Americans were not
convinced of the value of the 17 Pdr gun.
